Job Responsibilities

Join the King of the Hills gold mine project team as an EXPERIENCED Dewatering Operator/Blast Crew and be responsible for installing/moving and removing poly pipelines, feeder cables, diesel pumping systems and associated plant (valving/control) for Open Cut Mining Operations and able to do Blast Crew duties when required.

FIFO from Perth
2:1 all days roster
Up to $54.00 per hour base
7% market uplift allowance - paid quarterly


Project Location: King of the Hills gold mine project is located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia 28km north of Leonora.


Responsibilities will include but not limited to
•    Will be acting in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture, performance and ensures that the Macmahon’s core values are adhered at all times
•    Installing/moving and removing of poly pipelines, diesel pumping systems and associated plant (valving/control) for Open Cut Mining Operations
•    Scheduled inspections, adjustments, troubleshooting and timely repairs
•    Maintaining a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures
•    Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in and out of the workshops and other areas
•    Demonstrating full compliance with the Participating and contributing to audits in the maintenance and production facilities.


About you:
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience in Dewatering Operation
•    IT experience essential
•    Completion of secondary/high school education.
•    Certificate (PMBWELD301B) Butt Welding of Pipelines and Piping components in accordance with the Australian Guidelines
•    Integrated Tool Handler Qualifications/Experience (Desirable)
