Get ready for an extraordinary 12-week adventure that will take your passion for mining to new heights. You'll have the opportunity to explore our Australian operations in  either our Cadia (New South Wales) or Telfer (Western Australia) mines. We're deeply committed to sustainable work practices and at the forefront of cutting-edge digital innovation and technology.

Cadia

Cadia offers a unique residential mining lifestyle. You'll temporarily move to Orange (or a nearby location) and have the option to live with other vacation students. Located just a three-hour drive from Sydney, NSW, Cadia is where you'll witness world-class mining techniques and methods. It's home to Australia's largest block cave and employs the groundbreaking undercutless mining technique.

Telfer

Situated in the breathtaking Great Sandy Desert in the East Pilbara Region of WA, Telfer will provide you with an unforgettable fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) experience. You'll work in both open pit and underground environments, enjoying an 8 days on, 6 days off lifestyle. And there's more to Telfer than work! You'll have access to a range of recreational activities, including a gym, swimming pool, driving range, movie room, and a refurbished communal eatery.
