Job Tasks and Responsibilities
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a proactive and motivated person to join our Commercial team based at Moolarben Coal Operations.
Reporting to the Commercial Superintendent, key responsibilities will include:
- Monthly management reporting and financial forecasting, including assisting with yearly budgets and life-of-mine plan.
- Partnering with operations teams to provide financial insights that support production and planning decisions.
- Facilitating cost review meetings with department managers and supervisors.
- Analysis of operating costs to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Administer and control project/CAPEX applications in line with policy and use of the accounting system.
- Trial balance reconciliations.
- Supporting the Asset Management lifecycle.
- Preparation of ad hoc reporting requests from key stakeholders.
- Educating end users of accounting systems and reporting requirements.
