About the Role
Reporting to the HR Superintendent the Administration Assistant - Commercial works part of a small team with a focus on providing effective administrative support to the Commercial team at Premier Coal. The Administration Assistant is responsible for but not limited to:
- Management of invoices and purchase orders for mining labour hire provider
- Generate weekly unmatched invoice report and investigate discrepancies
- Update and issue reports on site to stakeholders following the end of each month
- Maintain an electronic filing system of commercial related documents
- Convert monthly forecasts to a daily forecast and coordinate the uploading into the system
- Analyse trends in commercial and warehouse expenditure
- Assist with the processing of accrual journals for each month end
- Provide temporarily leave coverage for other Administration Assistants as required
About You

- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite particular Excel
- Quick learner and able to adapt with new computer programs
- Display professional behaviour incorporating a willingness to assist attitude
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
- Prior administration experience (essential)
- Prior administration experience in banking or commercial environment (desirable)
