Job Tasks and Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity is available for a 12 month fixed term position as an Administration Assistant – Maintenance on Crew in the Maintenance Department.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role is responsible for delivering a timely, efficient and effective high level office administration, executive support, information co-ordination and confidential secretarial support service.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Work order close out
  • Population of daily shift log throughout each shift
  • Pulse data entry
  • Collection, sorting and entering defect notifications
  • Prepare notification reports for each OEM prior to swing shift inspections
  • Main contact point for maintenance radio channel
  • Prepare PR’s for parts and labour on work orders as required
  • Prepare YPM2 Work orders thought shift, as required
  • General filing and ad hoc administration duties

Skills and Experience

  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel & SAP
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to input data in a timely, professional manner
  • The ability to quickly adapt and overcome obstacles in a changing environment.
  • Willingness to work on a rotating Dayshift/Nightshift roster – weekends included.
