ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a Permanent position on 9-day fortnight roster. Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night.
Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.
As the Administration Assistant - Training, you will play a key role in coordinating, scheduling and administering training activities across the operation. Working closely with operational leaders, trainers, contractors and employees, you will ensure training is planned and delivered in line with workforce requirements, compliance obligations and business priorities. You will support learning systems, maintain accurate training records and contribute to an efficient and positive learning experience across the site.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Develop and maintain forward training schedules to support operational requirements, workforce capability, compliance obligations and onboarding activities across the operation.
- Coordinate training logistics, including participant bookings, venues, facilitators, travel, accommodation, equipment, course materials and support for internal and external training providers.
- Administer Learning Management System (LMS) processes, including enrolments, system access, attendance tracking, competency records, training completion requirements and compliance reporting.
- Maintain accurate training data and records, support governance and assurance activities, manage training-related administration including purchase orders and invoices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance training systems and scheduling processes.
ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Providing administrative support within a training, learning, operational or compliance-focused environment, with a strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Working with business systems, databases or learning management systems, maintaining records and ensuring data integrity.
- Coordinating multiple tasks and priorities, including scheduling, documentation management and stakeholder support.
- Building positive working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders and providing a high level of customer service.
- Using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, to manage information, prepare reports and support administrative processes.
- Communicating clearly and professionally, with strong organisational, problem-solving and time management skills.

Qualifications for this position are:
- Completion of year 10
- Demonstrated oral and written english profeciency
- Proficient in the use of microsoft Excel, Word
