Due to the continuous growth and strengthening of our position Australia wide and the recent additional works being awarded at Byerwen, Macmahon has opportunities for an experienced Administration Officer – Document Controller to work onsite on a Monday to Friday roster (5X2). 
 
Byerwen Mine is located approximately 20kms west of the town of Glenden in the northern Bowen Basin and is Macmahon’s largest project on the east coast. Full camp facilities are available – accommodation and meals provided.
 
Responsibilities: 
· Designing templates for documents and file types.
· Checking and editing documents for accuracy and compliance.
· Controlling the flow of documents in and out of the department.
· Handling intake, scanning, verification, and storing documents.
· Filing and archiving relevant documentation.
· Updating and maintaining site information systems and records.
· Uploading and retrieving files from site information system when needed.
· Assisting employees with accessing documents through our site information management system.
· Reporting errors or developments regarding document storage.
· Keep other personnel updated on new document versions and how to obtain access
· Preparations of reports, papers, presentation material and information as required
· Maintain an efficient and up to date filing and archiving system
· Able and willing to conduct other tasks when required
 
About you:
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite – must have
· Proven experience working in a similar environment - highly desirable
· Own reliable transport as this role in Drive-in, drive-out position
· Ability to work 10–11-hour days onsite
 
As part of the recruitment process for this role you may be required to complete a preemployment medical, inclusive of laboratory drug and alcohol screen and complete a criminal history and qualification checks. Additionally, you will be asked to provide proof of work rights in Australia i.e. copy of valid Australian passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate or current visa grant notification where applicable.
