About the role
We are seeking a highly organised Administration Officer to join our Mackay team! Being a resident to Mackay or surrounds and reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will hold key responsibility for supporting the busy Mackay Workshop team across all aspects of Office administration.

Key Responsibilities include.
- Monitoring of job costing from opening, throughout the course of job to completion, ensuring correct purchase orders, invoices and costs are allocated.
- Working with supervisors to ensure costing and invoicing of jobs is completed accurately, with supporting documentation such as breakdowns and quotes.
- Prepare documents and reports as requested by management
- Book travel and flights, complete site access paperwork, including the booking of Medicals, Drug & Alcohol testing and licence upgrades
- Maintain all site registers, ensuring accuracy and compiling data to submit quarterly reports
- Assist with the coordination of training
- General administration duties including answering phone calls, emails, data entry, filing etc.
About you
- 2+ years previous experience in an administrative position, holding exposure to the Mining industry;
- Ability to deliver varied tasks requiring independent judgement.
- Display a high level of efficiency with day-to-day tasks while managing problems that may spontaneously arise.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Previous experience and knowledge of Microsoft packages including Teams
