Administration Supervisor – Eliwana & Solomon

 

Lead and support site-based admin teams across two operations, delivering high-quality support to mining operations.

 

Work location: Hybrid Location (Fortescue Head Office, Eliwana & Solomon)

 

Roster: 5/2 or 4/3

 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administration Supervisor to lead our site-based admin team and deliver safe, reliable and high-quality administrative support to operations.

The role is responsible for overseeing all administrative functions across Solomon and Eliwana, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely support to operational teams. You will play a critical role in coordinating people, process and systems to maintain high standards across reporting, logistics and workforce administration.

Key Responsibilities

Change Management

  • Drive change management initiatives, including planning, communication and implementation of process and structural changes to support business objectives.
  • Contribute to the design and optimisation of organisational structures, supporting clarity in roles, responsibilities and workflows.

Leadership

  • Lead and support the administration team to deliver high-quality, timely outcomes.
  • Provide coaching, guidance and support to enable team members to perform at their best and continue to develop.
  • Foster a positive team culture focused on collaboration and service delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate strong stakeholder engagement corporate and operational teams, building effective relationships and ensuring alignment on priorities and outcomes.
  • Act as a key liaison with cross-functional teams including People Operations, Travel and Suppliers.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with site leaders and stakeholders.

Administration Coordination

  • Oversee administration function including roster coordination, travel, accommodation and purchasing.
  • Ensure accurate data entry, reporting and document control processes across the sites.
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, site access and workforce administration activities.
  • Support the maintenance of registers and site documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience leading a team across multiple sites
  • SAP experience, advanced computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Positive attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solutions focused with an efficient, flexible and agile approach
  • Demonstrated initiative and strong work ethic
