About the role:  We are currently seeking a Maintenance Administrator at our Moorvale Mine site. Our Coppabella Moorvale mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometers southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets. 

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the scope of your role will be to provide a high level of administration support and work collaboratively with all site based and corporate personnel as well as actively participate in the day to day operations of Moorvale Mine. 

Duties will include but not limited to: 

  • Assist with daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements 
  • Assist with sourcing of supplementary labour including PO
  • Coordinating the onboarding of new hires and contractors including induction bookings and uniform orders 
  • Experience with rosters
  • Time/Leave Management User Support using Kronos
  • Maintain recordkeeping and archiving
  • Scanning of Work Orders and Inspection sheets into SAP
  • Maintaining stationery stock levels for department

The lifestyle:  This position is offered on a 9 day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.  Employees living residentially may have access to a $15,000 housing allowance and may have the ability to salary sacrifice up to 50% of rental payments. 

About you: 

This is a fast paced and challenging role and would suit someone who can work autonomously and also within a team. Critical to your success will be: 

  • Working knowledge of a workshop environment, data entry, maintenance and scheduling systems
  • Well-developed administrative skills, effective time management and a strong customer service focus.
  • Exposure to purchasing systems in SAP
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office package
  • Experience working remotely in a similar role – FIFO or DIDO
  • Foster and maintain productive and mutually beneficial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to the immediate work situation
