The business employs over 2500 people from five operations across Western Australia comprising of nickel underground and open-cut mines, concentrators, a smelter and a refinery. About Nickle West Kalgoorlie
Kalgoorlie is the largest inland city in Western Australia and due to its central location is positioned at the heart of the Goldfields as a vibrant mining town and a major gateway to the Eastern States. Although fairly isolated, the City of Kalgoorlie/Boulder offers modern shopping facilities, a huge variety of sports, and schooling for all ages up to high school. There are contemporary housing options for all budgets, sporting clubs and leisure complexes of all descriptions.
The Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter receives nickel concentrate from our mining operations in Leinster and Mt Keith as well as from our Third Party Feed concentrator in Kambalda. Nickel West Kalgoorlie incorporates a flash furnace smelter, converters and an acid plant, which has the capacity to produce up to 110,000 tonnes per annum of nickel matte.

About the Role
We currently have a key opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join a fast-paced environment in our Western Australia team reporting to the Superintendent Small Projects and Modifications.
This is Residential Role on a 5/2 Roster.
Your key deliverables include, but are not limited to:
- General administrative support to the Projects department;
- Compiling, consolidating and distributing weekly reports and pre-reads for weekly/monthly routines;
- Booking flights/travel for staff;
- Assisting department with contractor onboarding (MyPass);
- Raising Purchase Requisitions (1Sap);
- Raising work instructions (C-Res Local Buyers Program);
- Reconciling AMEX accounts;
- Property Management – BHP Company houses;
- Ordering Warehouse stock items for department;
- Supporting with the delivery of team events and team activities.
About You
We are looking for individuals that are self-motivated and have business knowledge. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Previous administrator experience with excellent data entry and analysis skills;
- Ability to build strong and genuine relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across all levels;
- Exceptionally organised and proactive in your approach to work, with a strong ability to multi-task and prioritise a variety of complex tasks;
- Strong attention to detail, ability to understand complexity and a track record of providing quality information to senior management;
- Ability to manage competing priorities within tight timeframes;
- Project and/or mining industry experience highly valued.
