Macmahon has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Administrator to join the Inventory and Systems team in Perth on a permanent fulltime contract reporting to the Inventory & Systems Manager, this role’s focus is the co-ordination of the purchase and distribution of the large earth-moving tyres, direct site support in the use of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud for inventory related transactions and the administration of inventory disposals.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to fill a key role in the Inventory Department and an entry path to a career in inventory management. Along with some flexibility in working hours, the successful candidate will enjoy working in a small tight knit team of inventory professionals who are passionate in supporting the sites to have materials when they are needed.
The Perth office is strategically located at the Airport (T1/T2) and boasts an impressive staff gym with personal and group training, free secure undercover parking, and electric vehicle charging stations.
The role focus:
- Attends inventory related meetings and takes minutes if required. Specifically need to record meetings with the tyre suppliers and consignment stock suppliers.
- General filing of documents for the inventory department. In particular,
- Assists with monthly reporting as required.
- Coordinates bi-annual stock take activities.
- Completes Inventory Department Travel bookings
- Physically attends site to support bi-annual stock taking. The support will be on assisting with administering the stock count process to ensure it is completed to an acceptable standard until the site personnel have reached a minimum level of competence
- Administration of Tyre procurement and movements
- Generates Purchase requisitions for tyres
- Monitors delivery of the tyres and receipts them based on delivery
- Organises monthly tyre deliveries to site based on target quantities to be held on site
- Completes first stage of tyre transfers to site.
- Generates monthly storage purchase requisitions for tyre storage company and receipt order
- Conducts a monthly check between the data in Entire and the data in SAP.
- Assists with six monthly central tyre stock count.
- Completes central tyre six monthly stock take administration, data entry and final sign off
- Inventory and asset sale administration
- Administration of Inventory and Asset Disposal
- Up-dates ad-hoc catalogue and material master data where errors have been discovered
Qualifications & attributes
- Proven experience in office administration
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft suite
- Highly accurate data entry skills
- Current Western Australian C Class Driver’s Licence
- Excellent time management, customer service and organisation
- High attention to detail
- Knowledge of inventory and warehouse processes – not essential
- Knowledge/exposure to SAP S4 HANA products – not essential
