We currently have a vacancy for an Administrator, Engineering, Infrastructure & Services (EIS), reporting to the Coordinator Engineering, Infrastructure & Services (EIS) Administration.
The Challenge Ahead
As an Administrator, Engineering, Infrastructure & Services (EIS), you'll be a trusted support partner to leaders and teams across Copper SA. Supporting the Olympic Dam Small Projects Manager and broader EIS team, you'll coordinate a wide range of administrative activities that help ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and effectively.
Based in our Adelaide office, this permanent role provides the opportunity to work across a variety of administrative functions while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. From managing calendars, reports and travel arrangements to coordinating meetings, visitors and purchasing activities through 1SAP, you'll play an important role in enabling operational success.
You'll join a collaborative and performance-focused team where organisation, attention to detail and a proactive approach are highly valued. This role is well suited to an experienced Administrator who enjoys managing competing priorities, supporting engineering and operational teams, and identifying opportunities to improve the way work is done.
What You’ll bring to the Role
You are an organised and adaptable administrator who enjoys supporting teams and building strong working relationships. You can prioritise effectively, maintain confidentiality and provide a high standard of administrative support in a busy environment.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience providing administrative support in a professional environment.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to respond to internal and external enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency across the Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
- Experience working with enterprise systems such as 1SAP, SAP or similar business applications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- The ability to communicate effectively across different levels and disciplines and work collaboratively across teams.
- A flexible approach to work and changing priorities.
- A continuous improvement mindset and an interest in identifying more efficient ways of working.
- Previous experience in a mine site environment will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Provide confidential administrative and clerical support to leaders, including calendar and meeting management.
- Coordinate the preparation and collation of internal and external reports.
- Support and coordinate department visitors.
- Coordinate meetings and team functions, including booking conference rooms, equipment and facilities.
- Organise travel arrangements and reconcile travel journals and corporate credit card expenses.
- Source and purchase goods and consumables through 1SAP, including reservations, requisitions and service entries.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with administrators and stakeholders across Copper SA.
- Contribute to BOS routines and support initiatives that improve productivity, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve ways of working.
Work Location
This role is based at 10 Franklin Street, Adelaide, South Australia, working Monday to Friday on a 5:2 roster.
