Administrator - HSEQ & Training

Due to the continuous growth and strengthening or our position Australia wide and the recent additional works being awarded at Byerwen, Macmahon has the opportunity for an experienced Administrator – HSEQT on a 5:2 roster.

Role Responsibilities:
•    Maintain all onsite employee files.
•    Maintain administrative systems and processes, in consultation with other relevant staff, for recording and storing information.
•    Ensure correct documentation is saved in each employee file. 
•    Issuing inductions to all personnel across site
•    Review coal board medicals, standard 11, drivers’ licence, fitness for work management plans and site request forms whilst ensuring compliance.
•    Maintain all employee training files across site.
•    Assist with monthly audits.
•    Assist with outstanding actions.
•    Upload documentation to online database:
    o    Planned task observations
    o    Safety interactions
    o    Take 5’s
    o    Hazard reports
    o    Toolbox talks
    o    Pit inspections
•    Attention to details and problem-solving skills.
•    All ad hoc duties as directed by HSEQT Superintendent.

About you:
•    Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite
•    Must have experience working in a similar role onsite – ideally
•    Certificates relevant to Administration - ideally
•    Current Manual Drivers Licence
•    Must have Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 or ability to pass
•    Ability to pass a National Police check

Byerwen Mine is located approximately 20kms west of the town of Glenden in the northern Bowen Basin and is Macmahon’s largest project on the east coast. Full camp facilities are available – accommodation and meals provided.
