About the Role
Reporting to the Lead HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Planning and Improvement you will join an inclusive and strong performance orientated culture, where you will make a difference each day through providing outstanding support to a dynamic and engaging HSE team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting effective administration processes within the Olympic Dam (OD) HSE Team, including calendar maintenance and meeting bookings
- Support ad-hoc group and team travel and accommodation
- Maintenance and use of medical (Physio Nurse and Doctor) appointment system
- Support the Health team with telephone support during clinic operations
- Provide a customer facing point of contact at the onsite medical clinic
- Raising, escalation and management of maintenance requests
- Using SAP for purchasing (POs/ PRs)
- Event management with both internal and external stakeholders; and supporting projects and other ad hoc duties as required
- Working closely with the Leadership team to support on boarding of new employees
- Apply the BHP Charter Values through your interactions with team members and customers on a daily basis.
- Stationary and non-medical consumable ordering
- Collect and enter health data information to support internal data integrity
- Preparation and distribution of team communications on behalf of the leadership team.
- Supports and maintains processes to enable the operating discipline of the OD HSE team
About You
- Ability to convey information in a comprehensive and succinct fashion in a dynamic environment
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing demands and priorities
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Effective time management
- Diplomacy with sensitive and privileged information
- Strong organisational skills and time management skills
- Microsoft Office experience
- Medical reception skills desirable
- SAP experience desirable
