Macmahon has an opportunity for an experienced Site Administrator to join the team at Byerwen Mine. You will report directly to the Senior Administrator onsite.
Role Responsibilities
- Maintain site rosters with a high level of accuracy
- Enter daily timesheets and leave entries and process weekly employee payroll
- Processing accommodation requests for the Macmahon workgroups, Contractors, and Visitors
- Raise purchase requisitions, process goods receipting, ensuring 100% to the supply chain process
- Assist department leaders with queries and required changes
- Complete weekly/monthly reporting to required deadlines
- General office administration: filing, archiving, ordering office and kitchen consumables, responding to phone and email queries as required
- Assist Production, Maintenance, HSEQ and Commercial departments when required to ensure project success
- Actively contribute to Macmahon Core Values: United, Courage, Integrity, and Pride
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practice, Macmahon and Client instructions, policies, procedures and practices
- Report accidents, incidents, hazards and near misses using correct procedure
- Demonstrate an awareness of costs and financial impacts of the work, always minimising costs to the business
- Work together with internal and external stakeholders
About you
- Previous experience working in a similar position (highly regarded)
- 5:2 roster, camp accommodation and meals supplied
- Possess a current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (or prepared to undergo for the role)
- Manual Drivers Licence
- DIDO
Byerwen Mine is located approximately 20kms west of the town of Glenden in the northern Bowen Basin and is Macmahon’s largest project on the east coast.
