About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Work, Health Safety and Training Administrator to join the Whitehaven Coal Tarrawonga Mine team. Based at our Tarrawonga Coal Mine site, the Work, Health Safety and Training Administrator will undertake administrative tasks associated with the Health, Safety and Training Department and is accountable for providing high level administrative and clerical support to enable the smooth operation of the mine site. This is a local role in the Gunnedah region. You are required to live locally or relocate to the area.

What You’ll Do

  • Schedule and support all health, safety and training activities
  • Manage all aspects of the workforce management database (Pegasus)
  • Daily and monthly administrative duties, data entry and tracking of qualifications
  • Maintain registers and ensure accurate upload of Safety and Training data

About You

  • Have clerical and administration experience and ideally possess qualifications in Office Administration – Cert III or IV
  • High attention to detail, great written and oral communication skills
  • Competent Excel skills and exposure or experience to Pegasus & INX desirable
  • Ability to develop rapport and communicate effectively with customers and staff
