About the role
We are looking for an experienced Change Advisor to support the End to End (E2E) Programme of work – a multi-year endeavour to automate production planning and scheduling across the Iron Ore value chain, enabled by digital tools and technology.
This is a great opportunity to work collaboratively with the E2E workstream delivery leads and their teams to support the implementation of their changes. You will be supported through coaching and active development planning to grow your change management career, and you will be able to flex your people expertise on a range of business challenges to continually improve the change management experience for E2E stakeholders.
Reporting to the Principal – Change and Communications, and working in a diverse and challenging environment, you will be leveraging your change management expertise to support project delivery from beginning to end by:
- Thoroughly preparing and planning your change approach and other change artefacts
- Deeply understanding the needs and concerns of key stakeholders and actioning appropriately
- Providing thought leadership on a project’s delivery impacts on people that are receiving their changes
- Assessing organisational capability gaps and defining the actions needed to build change readiness
- Writing impactful communications - simplifying the complex, and creating a compelling case for change that connects stakeholders to ‘what’s in it for them’
- Identifying and championing risks that may impede the delivery of change, or its longer-term sustainability
- Developing and enhancing the reputation of the Change Management team by supporting the continual improvement of the change management processes, and the change experience for receivers of change.
What you’ll bring
- Relevant qualification in Project Management, Human Resources, or Change Management.
- 5+ years in change management/project delivery experience – preferably in a technology or mining operations environment
- Operational knowledge of the iron ore value chain (including planning and scheduling). Preference will be given to applicants with site experience.
- Hands-on experience of defining and executing change management artefacts (e. change impact assessments, change strategies, communications plans etc)
- A laser focus on the user experience – leveraging experience in co-design/human centred design to advocate for users
- A varied toolkit of change models and theories (incl Prosci ADKAR, Lean Change, Kotter) that helps to frame your artefacts and your stakeholder engagements
- Presence and influence across various levels of leadership, leveraging robust negotiation skills
- Applied knowledge of Scrum or SAFe Agile and Azure DevOps
- Microsoft suite, incl Sharepoint
