We are looking for a motivated and engaging Dewatering Advisor to drive improvements while managing a dewatering schedule to ensure alignment with mining and maintenance plans.

This role is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual seeking a new challenge.

Working 4 days on, 3 days off roster out of Perth, and reporting to the Superintendent Dewatering, you will be:

  • Creating and managing a dewatering schedule for site, including a weekly dewatering plan for the operational teams to execute
  • Reviewing and advising on maintenance schedules for dewatering equipment
  • Developing relevant and meaningful metrics (lead and lag) to inform customers and stakeholders of current and predicted dewatering performance
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure effective integration of dewatering and management of dewatering assets.
  • Creating systems of work (SWP’s) for the dewatering teams
  • Creating and managing a dewatering database to assist in operational decision making and reporting
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and managing projects to improve the site’s dewatering capability

What you’ll bring

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience of dewatering in the mining industry
  • Experience in potable and wastewater treatment pipeline design and optimisation
  • Knowledge of fire water regulations and design
  • SAP maintenance planning experience
  • C class WA driver’s licence
  • Microsoft Office skills: Intermediate to advanced
  • Excellent communication skills and strong history of working between operational departments

It will also be beneficial if you have:

  • A tertiary qualification in either Geoscience, Environmental Sciences, Mechanical or Mine Engineering or water engineering
