Due to our ongoing growth, Macmahon are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced people to join the team at the Warrawoona Gold Project mine located 25km from Marble Bar.

We are currently seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join the Warrawoona team on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth. This role will be required to provide a high degree of safety and health support and advice to the operational departments of the surface mine site. Daily duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the overall implementation of safety systems, strategies and initiatives.
- Provide facilitation, assistance, and guidance in incident investigations, HSE meetings, safety inspections of equipment and work practices on the site.
- Assist in maintaining the HSEQ and training management systems on site.
- Participate in high level incidents and accident investigations, including incident reports.
- Safety and training administration, accurate data entry and RMSS.
- Lead, facilitate and participate in risk management processes.
To be considered for this position you must have:
- Experience in Surface Mining Operation.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
- Qualification in incident investigation such as ICAM.
- Experience in HSEQ management systems such as INCONTROL.
- Proficient in Microsoft products – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of the Mines Safety Inspection Act.
- A ‘can do’ attitude with a strong desire to succeed in the role and a passion for health, safety, environment, and community.
