About the role 

We are seeking expressions of interest for a newly created Advisor Logistics role within the Transport & Logistics Team.

The role will see you engage in significant collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes; adhering to a consistent framework of work practices, procedures and processes that drives good practice across the business.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, supported by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work on a 5 & 2 roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life. 

Reporting to the Specialist Transport & Logistics, you will:

  • Act as a conduit between RTIO and Our Third party Logistics supplier
  • Be a role model for positive behaviours, practices, and processes
  • Develop processes and be responsible for the prioritisation of freight to the operations
  • Oversee and improve discrepancy management processes
  • Drive improvements in safety maturity and culture within the work environment
  • Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to enhance timely supply of materials
  • Actively contribute to, and participate in, freight optimisation initiatives
  • Non-conformance management
  • Developing & distribution of reports
  • Data analysis
  • Freight bookings

What you’ll bring 

  • Proven stakeholder engagement skills both internally & externally
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a position of trust in an autonomous environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in leading teams is desired but not essential
  • Lead with influence
  • SAP experience, not essential but desired
  • Experience in Transport & Logistics
  • Experience in Expediting, not essential but desired

This role is 5:2, primarily based in Hazelmere, Perth with ad hoc travel to Central Park.
