We are looking for a Performance Assurance Advisor to lead the delivery of Integrated Operations control room productivity analysis and optimisations. This role will see you provide coaching support focusing on reducing variability in processes and uplifting capability.

Reporting to the Performance Assurance Superintendent, whilst working in a challenging and exciting environment within Integrated Operations, you will be:
- Inspiring a continuous improvement and a greater than yesterday culture across the control room;
- Utilise programs and processes to target specific variances and inefficiencies across the hubs;
- Coach and uplift our controllers' capabilities in analysing tactics/improvements, understanding best practices and converting that into coaching and support materials to be delivered;
- Monitoring coaching outcomes and delivering coaching modules;
- Provide Technical SME support to Hub teams;
- Initiates coordination activities to prevent and solve conflicting priorities and delays with coaching activities;
- Closely liaise with other teams such as Learning and Development and the On the Job Trainers to improve training packages and governance.
What you'll bring
- High level of communication, both written and verbal;
- Experience with Dry and/or Wet Fixed Plant operational control systems or autonomous drill systems
- Experience utilising coaching methodology for the development or training of team members;
- Experience in implementing new technology into an operational team;
- Instructional design or technical writing experience;
- A focus on industry best practices and identifying opportunities where technology can further enhance capabilities.

This role is for applicants residing in or willing to permanently relocate to Western Australia. Rio Tinto offers Fly in and fly out options from Perth, our regional FIFO hubs and the opportunity to live in our residential towns where applicable.
