We are looking for an Advisor Planning and Reporting to join our RioProjects Capital Reporting team located in Perth, Western Australia to cover a parental leave period.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated reporting professional looking to further their career and gain experience in a global role. The role will support capturing and presenting RioProjects monthly capital spend and related commentary for our global development capital and study projects. The role will require strong knowledge of the systems used for reporting to our stakeholders (PowerBI, SharePoint), in addition to excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communictate with key stakeholders ats different levels across RioProjects.
Reporting to the Manager – Capital Reporting, you will:
- Co-ordinate RioProjects Senior Leadership Team Information Board updates using PowerBI and SharePoint applications and drafting supporting accompanying notes.
- Assist Manager Capital Reporting with timely and accurate preparation of RioProjects monthly performance reports and annual plans
- Provide systems support to project stakeholders (PowerBI, Integrated Project Performance (IPP), SharePoint)
- Support and respond to queries received in our RT Projects Reporting email inbox
- Support (IPP) access requests
- Support the preparation of various Senior Leader presentations and papers
- Contribute and support improvement opportunities within the Project Practices and Improvements team
What will you bring

- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong technical skills using tools such as: PowerBI, SharePoint, MS Office
- Data visualisation skills – ability to covert data into visual elements (like charts, graphs, and maps) to be used in presentations
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset advantageous
- Ability to analyse data and provide narrative commentary
