You’ll be part of a supportive team, supported byyour Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals ofthe team. You’ll work on an 8 and 6 FIFO roster which will giveyou more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the peoplein your life.

Reporting to the Fixed Plant Operations Superintendent, and working in a challenging and rewarding environment, you will:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety to achieve a workplace target of zero injuries and incidents; you must have the belief and personal commitment to zero injuries,
  • Use SAP for planning and scope challenging,
  • Report to the Superintendent on the effectiveness of operator inspections and manage the operator inspections through the tablet-based App,
  • Embed and support SPS practices
  • Execute some individual project work
  • Contribute to Constraint Utilisation and debottlenecking
  • Challenge the scope of the weekly maintenance schedule with the Fixed Plant scheduler
  • Advise the priority of works for operations during the shut management process
  • Offer Operational teams technical advice daily and influence their decision-making within the process.

What you’ll bring

  • Excellent understanding of Work Management Systems and Process
  • Able to easily navigate through SAP and Gantts,
  • High exposure to Contractor Management System; CMS qualification required,
  • Able to engage with team and our contractor partners to promote site’s values and positive culture,
  • Passion and enthusiasm to continually improve - safety, production, and cost,
  • Positive outlook and willingness to continually learn,
  • Strong work ethic, dedication to their teams, peers, and business objectives,
  • Adaptable, flexible, and resilient,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Self-Motivator; and,
  • Technical ability to understand quantitative data and influence decision-making leading to increased

Where you’ll be working

Located 95km north-west of Newman, Yandicoogina offers a range of fly in fly out rosters. As one of Australia's largest-producing iron ore mines; operating a fleet of autonomous trucks and drills, it generates more than 55 million tonnes of Hammersley Iron Yandi (HIY) fines each year.

Yandicoogina is known for its culture of teamwork, can-do attitude and pioneering spirit, leading the way with innovation and technological advances in autonomous operations and robotics.
