About the role
We are looking for an Advisor, Productivity Fixed Plant to provide ongoing support and analytical capability to the Asset Productivity team within MP&E, Maintenance Planning & Engineering.
This role is a great opportunity to join the Productivity team at our Operations Centre in Perth which is a state-of-the-art facility that enables all our mines, ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location.

Reporting to the Specialist Productivity Fixed Plant, Asset Management & Engineering Services, you will:
- Support Production Planning Process for fixed plant assets at Mines and Ports;
- Delivering in depth analytics to identify actions and insights to drive asset performance and asset management;
- Supporting Maintenance Planning & Engineering team with analytics to build processing plant 3 month to 10-year productivity pipeline;
- Supporting capacity annual plan activities linking with Integrated Operations, Mine Planning and Mine Operations;
- Undertaking ad-hoc analysis on plant performance and driving productivity framework;
- Use Data Science to drive analytical insights for the team.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Mechanical, Mining, Civil, Electrical Engineering or University degree in Data Science
- Demonstrated experience in processing plants in operations, maintenance or studies capacity;
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS SQL, MS Excel, MS Power BI
- Demonstrated experience in inferential analytics, statistics, data science;
- Demonstrated experience in complex problem solving and implementing change;
Desirable:
- Experience in Fixed Plant reliability, maintenance or productivity;
- Advanced statistics

Where you’ll be working
Our integrated iron ore network is supported by our Operations Centre (OC) in Perth, a state-of-the-art facility that enables all the autonomous trucks, trains and drills at our mines, ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location. The Centre incorporates visualisation and collaboration tools to provide real-time information across our demand chain and allows us to optimise our mining, maintenance and logistic activities across the Pilbara in a way never before possible. Located near the Perth domestic airport, the OC operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines, rail, and ports from 1,500km away.
