We are looking for motivated team players to join the Sustaining Capital – Greater Nammuldi Region Team as a Project Advisor to assist in delivering a variety of projects across our Pilbara operations and communities.
You’ll work 8 days on, 6 days off as your roster, staying at the camp facilities during your rostered time on and you’ll have more time for downtime for the things that are important to you during your rostered time off. Reporting to the Senior Advisor, you’ll ssupport the safe and efficient delivery of our projects by managing our Contracting Partners in meeting RTIO Project Delivery, Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ) and contractor requirements. In addition, you will:
- Manage and coach our Contracting Partners in Rio Tinto systems and processes and ensure compliance with the Contractor Management System
- Promote a safe workplace culture, investigate safety incidents and ensure actions are implemented accordingly
- Provide site support and collaborate with Project Leads to ensure project safety, schedule and quality are met throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
- Undertake quality leadership in the field interactions
- Conduct regular reviews of project documentation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Project Leads, contracting partners, area owners and other stakeholders

- Demonstrated experience in the expectations of what is required for Project Delivery, in a mining/resource sector environment
- A Trade background is desirable
- Ability to coach, mentor and supervise a team
- Interpret and implement systems, processes and procedures and ensure compliance to standards and specifications
- Able to work effectively in an agile environment
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to challenge assumptions and deliver initiatives to improve projects and processes

Where you’ll be working Located 60km north-west of Tom Price, Brockman is wholly owned and operated by Rio Tinto. Opened in 2010, this open pit operation offers a family friendly fly in fly out roster with state-of-the-art camp facilities.
The Greater Brockman Operations consist of Brockman 2, Brockman 4, Nammuldi and Silvergrass. Driving the latest technological advancements, the open-pit mines offer an avenue for opportunity and career progression.
