Job Responsibilities

Join the Macmahon team as an EXPERIENCED RTO Advisor to work across various sites in Bowen Basin.

About the role

  • Various Sites across the Bowen Basin
  • 8:6-day roster
  • Permanent Position

About you

  • Coordinate and execute training and assessment in accordance with Macmahon training standards and sitespecific training plan, ensuring that all training and assessment is current and meets Client, Macmahon and legislative requirements
  • Develop, monitor and maintain proficiency for operation of equipment to a high standard Identify any out of date, inaccurate or unsuitable content in site training material and bring to the attention of the Training Supervisor
  • Maintain training records to ensure accuracy, currency and confidentiality
  • Undertake field observations for performance of personnel operating procedures (technique, equipment abuse, work area set up etc.)
  • Remain current and proficient on the operations they train/assess or work in consultation with a mentor/subject matter expert
  • Actively participate in professional development activities on an ongoing basis
  • Previous experience in a similar role, particularly on machines from Trucks, Dozers, excavators, graders, water carts, diggers in an open-cut mine site environment
  • Experience on BMA sites
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team
  • Drive a safety-first workplace culture, which promotes a zero-harm environment.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), mandatory
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence
