Title: Aftermarket Deployment Manager

Work location: Perth based

Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)

FFI are currently looking for an experienced Aftermarket Deployment Manager to help support the deployment of FFI/WAE product support for prototypes and new product introductions that will transition to in service support.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Develop an agile product support team to support protype products, NPI which transitions into in- service support. This includes Field Service and a Quick Resolution Team (Team)
  • Manage the product support team to ensure that maximum uptime of the product during its planned prototyping schedule is achieved.
  • To create a spare parts capability for products during various stages of product maturation
  • To ensure that the diagnostic and special tools required for the product support are available during product introduction.
  • To work collaboratively with the customer /OEM to ensure that any product related issues are captured and reported back to FFI/WAE for assessment with a feedback mechanism in place.
  • Ensure that the infrastructure on which the application will be deployed are robust and stable.
  • Ensure that a detailed deployment plan has been documented along with a backout plan to mitigate any risk during deployment.
  • Ensure the deployment of infrastructure components are in compliance with company objectives, National and local standards and follow industry.
  • Ensuring the correct and efficient deployment of the network solution / resource, validating the deployment procedures and projects, and ensuring its adequacy to the customer’s requirements
  • Coordinate with both the UK based programme teams and/or the Australia based Operations team, to ensure that sanctioned communications to all stakeholders have been properly prepared and reviewed
  • Ensure the product has been correctly and completely integrated across the programme.
  • Validate that the product has been correctly packaged before deployment and ensure that all release controls have been satisfied.

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Engineering Degree or Field Service Engineering experience
  • Electrical Vehicle or High Voltage experience
  • Proven track record of leading deployment programme delivery on large or multiple projects
  • Maintenance of timing and cost plans
  • Commercial and technical leadership and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence outcomes with customer at peer level.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and preferably Project.
  • ERP and aftermarket digital systems experience
