About the Role

The role can be based in Perth or Brisbane.

As a Agile Delivery Principal, your role is to coach and bring best practices, facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments and connect with key stakeholders across the business.

Some of the awesome things you will get to do in this role includes:

  • Facilitating and imparting your knowledge and experience to our teams that enable them to deliver first class products to stakeholders.
  • Managing end-to-end delivery across the various work streams of the team
  • Problem solving some of the trickiest challenges with BHP leaders and ensure these outcomes are sustainably embedded in your products.
  • Owning and providing feedback on ways to improve the teams routines and influence global routines.
  • Proactively identifying and removing obstacles to team outcomes and collaborating across all areas of Technology and the business to achieve this
  • Being inquisitive and continuously pushing for the next level of team performance and outcomes.
  • Developing, shaping and supporting the delivery of the Technology Teams culture with the Technical and Product Ownership to be inclusive and engaging.
  • Being an advocate for digital professionals and helping develop digital professionals to create the next horizon Technical leadership in BHP.

About You

  • Experience working as a Scrum Master, Business Analyst or in Agile delivery.
  • Experience energising and shaping a great team culture
  • A curious and inquisitive mindset – one that always pushes for what’s next and what more could we do.
  • Experience in coaching and facilitating across multiple organisational levels.
  • Adaptability – Agile is part of the BHP ways of working – it might have some nuances to what you have practiced before, but this works for us so you come open minded.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development process.
  • Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) is a plus.
