Autonomous Haulage Systems Field Builder/ NLOS Operator
Work location: Cloudbreak
Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku people and Nyiyaparli people
Roster: 8D/6R, 7N/7R - FIFO Ex Perth
We have several opportunities in the AHS Operations team for Autonomous Haulage Systems Field Builder/ NLOS Operator, reporting to the Supervisor AHS Infield Builder. These roles are critical to the success of Fortescue’s operation, in order to continue to support our growing team, we are currently seeking people who are willing to undertake duties both as an Autonomous Field builder and None Line of Site (NLOS) Dozer operator.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Effectively support the management of a fleet of autonomous trucks to maximise utilization of machines to drive safety, productivity, and costs.
- Manage and maintain the virtual mine model to ensure efficient execution of the daily mine plan and ensure accuracy we accurately reflect the physical mining environment.
- Undertake None Line of Sight (NLOS) dozer operations.
Education and Experience:
- Willingness to learn proficiencies in the use of Fleet Management Systems (MineStar Command).
- A great attitude and willingness to learn new skills with a passion for innovation and technology.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills together with computer literacy.
- Current WA Drivers Licence.
Preferred skills but not essential:
- Previous experience operating D10T/D11T Dozer.
- Previous experience in the use Autonomous Mining Systems.
- Previous experience in fleet optimisation.
