Fortescue currently operate over 190 Autonomous Mining Trucks. We have a history of embracing mining technology including automation.

The Opportunity:

Fortescue have a fantastic new opportunity to kickstart your career in mining automation. As an Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) Mine Controller, you will be responsible for controlling our AHS Fleet in a safe and efficient manner. This 12 month fixed term contract will embed you into our AHS Career Development Program.

This opportunity allows you to get the role specific experience required to become a successful AHS Mine Controller. Fortescue will provide you with the onsite exposure and training to gain a foundational understanding of mining practices, as well as the required courses and experience to control Autonomous Mining Trucks.

You are resilient. Being an AHS Mine Controller can be challenging. Due to the dynamic nature of mining, you may encounter roadblocks to efficiently manage your fleet. You need to be able to bounce back and find opportunities to overcome those hurdles to drive productivity.

You have a passion for technology. Fortescue currently operate Autonomous Mining Trucks, Non-Line of Sight Dozers, Autonomous Light Vehicles and Autonomous Drills.
