AMM Systems Specialist

Our Opportunity

Location: Perth – Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people

Roster: Monday to Friday (up to 2 days per week WFH and on-site childcare crèche available. Occasional site travel required)

We have an exciting opportunity within the Asset & Materials Management (AMM) Systems team for an experienced Maintenance Systems Specialist to join our Perth-based team on a permanent full-time basis.

This role is ideally suited to a technically strong SAP professional with experience across SAP S/4HANA, Plant Maintenance (PM), Materials Management (MM), Fiori, and associated Asset Management systems. As a key business process expert, you will play an important role in supporting, optimising, and enhancing Fortescue's Asset Management systems landscape while contributing to future digital transformation initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and improve SAP Plant Maintenance, SAP Asset Manager, Fiori, and related Asset Management systems.
• Investigate and resolve system and process issues, while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Work with operational teams and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and deliver effective system solutions.
• Support system enhancements, testing, change activities, and user adoption of new functionality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and future system developments.
• Provide day-to-day support for Asset Management systems, ensuring reliable operation and smooth transition of enhancements into business-as-usual support.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, Plant Maintenance (PM), and/or Materials Management (MM).
• Strong SAP user knowledge with experience in troubleshooting, system enhancements, and continuous improvement activities.
• Experience supporting Asset Management, Maintenance Planning, Reliability, or Work Management processes.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SAP Asset Manager, SAP Enable Now, or related technologies will be highly regarded.
• Maintenance Planning, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, or Procurement experience is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
