The opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Analyst to support the Utilities and Asset Management Procurement Business Partner team across the end-to-end procurement lifecycle. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong analytical ability, data management skills and demonstrated procurement experience to join a great culture-focused team.
Reporting to the Business Partner – Utilities and Asset Management you will:
Gather market intelligence and undertake data analysis to help inform sourcing and category strategies
Support sourcing projects, including drafting and execution of contract documentation
Extract, analyse, and interpret spend data and management of team reporting
Develop reports on cost savings, expenditures, business unit spend and other performance metrics
Facilitate data collection for forecasting, supply chain management and risk assessments
Contribute to category value creation initiatives, bringing innovative ideas and energy
Assist with supplier management and engagement
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
A positive can-do approach towards your work
Demonstrated experience in data analytics
Experience or understanding of procurement fundamentals and the sourcing process
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Sound commercial acumen, problem solving, analytical skills and data capture skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline highly regarded
