Ancillary Operator
Work Location: Across various Fortescue 2/1 sites (Pilbara region)
Roster: 2:1 FIFO ex Perth
Fortescue is seeking experienced Allrounder Ancillary and Excavator operators who have operated some or all of the following equipment in a mining environment:
- D10T/D11T Dozer
- 854 Wheel Dozer
- 16/24M Grader
- 993/994 Wheel Loader
- CAT6060 shovel, CAT 6040, Hitachi 3600, CAT 6030 or Hitachi 2500 excavator
As a skilled Mining Operator, you will be responsible for operating mobile equipment at maximum efficiency, while maintaining safety, environmental and heritage standards to achieve required operational targets for the business.

- Meet daily operational targets
- Maintain assets to operational capacity
- Constantly strive to increase process efficiency
- Demonstrate behaviour that aligns with FMG values
- Comply with Zero Harm principles on a daily basis
Education and Experience:
- Ability to skillfully operate some or all the equipment above
- Mobile equipment operation in the mining industry is essential
- Ability to read mine plans
- Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act Regs
- WA Class HR Driver's License
- Communication and interpersonal skills - two-way operation
