We are currently seeking applications from suitable candidates for the position of Fixed Plant Boilermaker Apprentice at our process plant. Work will be 100% mine site based, carrying out general maintenance, repair and shutdown work in various areas of the mine. Jaguar mine site is located 60km north of Leonora and 250km north of Kalgoorlie. The role is permanent, on an 8/6 continuous day shift FIFO roster
Duties and responsibilities:
Jaguar Operations employs more than 250 people and is located 60km north of Leonora and 250km north of Kalgoorlie. Our workforce is predominantly a FIFO workforce from Perth to our camp facilities 10 minutes from site with fully equipped gym, recreational and social activities organised as well as Foxtel and Wi-Fi in camp for use.
Jaguar Operations is an established underground zinc, copper, and silver mine located 65 km north of Leonora in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. It is a high-quality asset in an established mining jurisdiction that produces two separate concentrate streams: a copper concentrate and a zinc concentrate. The operation includes a 600ktpa processing plant, as well as surface and underground infrastructure, and has been in production for more than 10 years.
The Bentley mine is the current focus of operations. Jaguar Operations has a current mine life of four years, although recent successful exploration campaigns are expected to lead to significant mine life extensions.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Comply with directions from Tradesperson/Leading hand or Supervisor as to ensure personal safety or the safety of others is not compromised, or equipment integrity is not at risk
- Pre – start / handover: discuss equipment issues
- Report any faulty equipment, incidents and or hazards
- Perform any planned maintenance including breakdown repairs as Complete paperwork – PM sheets, timesheets, work orders and log books
- Completion of year 10 or above
- Pre-apprenticeship in relevant field
- Confined Space and Working at Heights
- Be physically fit & capable of working in extreme heat conditions and lead stream environments
- Be able to pass Pre-employment Medical, drug and alcohol tests
- First Aid
- Manual Handling
- Be reliable, proactive and hard working
- High Risk Work Licence for Forklift, EWP (desirable)
