We are looking for a motivated a safety conscious individual to join our Resource Development team in Perth, as an Approvals Planner. This is an exciting opportunity to plan, develop, own, and manage quality ground access approval requests for all Resource Development activities in the medium term.

Reporting to the Superintendent Planning, you will be working in a diverse team within the Resource Development Planning department, you will:
- Co-ordinate documentation required for internal submission of strategic ground access approvals
- Collaborate with the Readiness Specialist and technical teams to ensure ground access submissions are fit for project scope
- Track and manage Resource Development ground access Submissions
- Submit heritage field survey only requests for medium- and long-term drill plans
- Coordinate, prioritise and escalate accordingly to ensure requests are included in internal RTIO heritage field survey prioritisation processes
- Collaborate with state government approvals on tracking and identifying when new clearing mechanisms are required to sustain long term development pathways
What you will bring
The scope of work you will be accountable for is challenging and diverse. Your demonstrated ability to engage, connect and positively influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels will play a critical part to the effectiveness in this role. You will also have:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Demonstrated skills in planning or scheduling activities, preferably within a project management environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) will be highly regarded
- Broad understanding of ground disturbance permitting and associated legislation
- A current manual WA Driver’s license

Where you’ll be working
This role is based in Perth, at our head office in Central Park, and working Monday to Friday. We want you to have a great work/life balance, so the days, hours, location of work are flexible (including working from home). You may be required to travel to the Pilbara to support our customers on an as required basis.
