About MECoE
The Maintenance and Engineering Centre of Excellence (MECoE) has been created to define a new way of working. Our MECoE remotely yet collaboratively supports our sites around the globe to deliver safe, sustainable improvement focusing on our equipment performance.
You will be part of a contemporary, CBD based team, utilising innovative tools and technology to add real value and new approaches to maintenance as a profession providing standards to guide our activity, services where there are benefits to centralisation and scale, and support to our people.
About the Role
The main focus of this role is the development and deployment of predictive Asset Health models using data to proactively identify impending equipment failures and initiate corrective activities to proactively prevent downtime and reduce manual monitoring tasks. You will be the subject matter expert and go to person for all the training material supporting the business regarding these models.
Reporting to the Asset Health Development Superintendent your key responsibilities will include:
- Investigating opportunities to use data in a predictive Asset Health model to prevent known failure modes
- Design and development of predictive Asset Health models within the Asset Performance Management (APM) application.
- Monitor, evaluate and optimise the effectiveness of predictive Asset Health models.
- Collaboratively work with site teams as well as other central functions to deploy Asset Health models in a sustainable way
- Support coaching to MECoE and Business in appropriate utilisation of APM Asset Health modules.
- Engage with business stakeholders to communicate opportunities for maintenance process improvement based on the outputs of analytics.
- Perform continuous improvement initiatives to ensure APM Asset Health Modules and Process is maintained 'fit for purpose.
- Stay abreast of changes and enhancement of APM Asset Health modules and provide recommendations for upgrades and inclusion of enhancements.
About You
As a successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Demonstrated experience in Asset Health, Predictive Maintenance, or data-focused Condition Monitoring processes and procedures in complex capital-intensive industries. E.g. Maintenance, Mining, or Resourcing.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in reliability engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, data science or similar
- Working knowledge of the Asset Performance Management (APM) software solution or past experience with Python, R, or SQL would be highly advantageous.
- Your people and communication skills are of the upmost importance as well as your relationship skills when liaising, negotiating and influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- It is essential that you are a team player who promotes and supports workplace diversity.
- You will have a focus on continuous improvement and be passionate about delivering extraordinary results.
Location and Roster
We have flexibility for this role to be base at our corporate offices in Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide. You will be working on Monday-Friday roster. Flexible work is also offered.
