About the role
We are looking for a Rail Asset Health Evaluator to join our 24/7 Asset Health team based at the OC.
This role supports our autonomous rail network with the remote monitoring and diagnosis of rollingstock faults and provides fault recovery guidance to field personnel to ensure continuous operation of the rail network minimising delays.
This role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual, reporting to the Operations Centre Production Supervisor.
Key Accountabilities
Monitor rollingstock equipment for health trends, diagnose and respond to faults as they occur
Liaise with field teams and provide fault rectification direction and support
Quality live data recording in the Asset Health logs & SAP notifications of all reported faults and failures with response information captured accurately
Provide remote response fault diagnostics and information to the field for further technical diagnosis
Follow Asset Health procedures and manuals when diagnosing and provide the field with appropriate fault support
To succeed in this role, you will require:
An analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills, sound communication and computer skills
Diagnostic, heavy diesel mechanical or electrical/rail experience
A strong safety focused mindset
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
Comfortable learning new software applications
Attention to detail
It would also be beneficial to have:
Prior SAP experience
Experience using systems such as HOSDI
Rail rollingstock experience.

Our integrated iron ore network is supported by our Operations Centre (OC) in Perth, a state-of-the-art facility that enables all the autonomous trucks, trains and drills at our mines, ports and rail systems to be operated from a single location.The Centre incorporates visualisation and collaboration tools to provide real-time information across our demand chain and allows us to optimise our mining, maintenance and logistic activities across the Pilbara in a way never before possible.Located near the Perth domestic airport, the OC operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to coordinate our integrated network of mines, rail, and ports from 1,500km away.
