Asset Health Lead
Work Location: Perth. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.
Roster: Monday to Friday.
The Asset Health Lead role reports to the Principal Asset Health and Performance and is responsible for taking the condition monitoring & hydrocarbons disciplines forward through the simplification of systems, trialing new innovations/techniques and providing guidance to the business on cost effective defect detection solutions.
The role is responsible for overall increase in Asset health practices and performance across the business. Peer support and mentoring of site supervisors and technicians, reviewing/updating and creation of relevant business standards will also be a part of this role. This will also include contributing to reliability improvement projects and root cause analyses, and provide SME assistance to procurement with managing vendor contracts. The Asset Health lead is also responsible to help drive the business vision for condition monitoring and hydrocarbons moving forward to ensure Fortescue continues to have a world class asset health program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver and support enterprise level asset health systems
- Review, identify and drive efficiency improvements in asset health activities
- Identify and close gaps in asset health processes across the business
- Drive the simplification of like systems across the business, improving data transfer and integration issues
- Support site/business RCA process as required by providing SME input
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years Asset Health, preferably across a range of industries with site-based exposure. Experience with different CM disciplines outside of vibration analysis looked upon favorably along with project and/or workshop testing exposure.
- Mechanical or Electrical trade, or Mechanical Engineering Degree
- VA CAT III certification
