About the Role
We are seeking a motivated highly organised individual to develop and maintain weekly and long term maintenance plans and for a range of Mobile and Ancillary Mining Equipment. Reporting to the Superintendent Planning & Asset Health, this role provides clearly structured plans and deliverables for execution teams to follow.
The successful candidate will carry out a variety of planning activities including arranging resources and material requirements, and working with maintenance execution teams to ensure optimised work plans are implemented during maintenance outages. We have multiple opportunities and the role is based in Brisbane working Monday to Friday. Flexible working options are available. In this role you will:
- Focus on mobile mining equipment outages by applying your technical and systems knowledge to ensure maintenance activities are planned for with a high level of effectiveness from within our world class Integrated Operations Maintenance Planning Team:
- Require strong process discipline and adherence to systems and frameworks, along with thorough job analysis and planning detail;
- Need to apply technical knowledge and understanding of the equipment and maintenance practices to develop fully resourced work plans;
- Be strong with stakeholder engagement, teamwork, communication, organisation and influencing skills with the ability to manage field assets throughout their life cycle.
About You
As an Asset Management Planner, the successful applicant will have broad, technical knowledge of a range of Mobile and ancillary Equipment. Your people and communication skills are of the upmost importance as well as your relationship skills when liaising, negotiating and influencing a range of internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience with 1SAP will be beneficial. The nature of the role requires you to be a people leader, a forward thinker and focused on process discipline. A background in participation in a high performing teams with a strong safety focus will be critical to the success of this position. With a focus on continuous improvement, you will present innovative ideas and be willing to go the extra mile and be enthusiastic about service delivery and passionate about delivering extraordinary results whilst provide assistance across multiple areas of the planning team. The following qualifications and skillsets are desirable for success in the role:
- Background in maintenance practices in the mining industry for Mobile and Ancillary Mining Equipment
- Experience with Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu and Caterpillar Excavators, Loaders and other Mobile Mining Equipment
- Fundamental Understanding of Asset Health across a range of Equipment:
- Maintenance planning experience highly desirable;
- SAP or similar CMMS software use;
- Experience with Microsoft office software.
- Exposure to Master Data and Continuous Improvement.
