About the Role
As an Asset Management Strategy Specialist, you will be responsible for the development and governance of Generic Reference Library (GRL) which contains quality baseline equipment maintenance strategies for common use across BHP. Responsibilities include development of these common strategies in Asset Performance Management (APM) and SAP.
This role is pivotal in driving data standardisation across BHP. You will be the subject matter expert and go to person for technical advice relating to equipment maintenance strategy development, gap analysis, data standardisation and continuous improvement.
About You
As a successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Demonstrated relevant experience in heavy Industry within maintenance and reliability engineering and heavily involved in reliability and maintenance management, including processing plants and mobile fleet.
- Energised by leading change and engaging with many different stakeholders to challenge the status quo.
- Proven experience in analysing historical data to identify recurrent failures. Identify dominant and common failure modes.
- Previous experience with equipment strategy development and implementation, including FMEA/FMECA and RCM processes is mandatory.
- Experience with facilitation of workshops and discussions with stakeholders.
- Passionate about strategy development process and support to users with technical advice on deployment of equipment strategies and address any stakeholders’ issues.
- Solid presentation, communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong knowledge of Maintenance Work Management processes.
- Self-motivated.
While not mandatory, but good to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant reliability engineering experience.
- Experience in building standards and procedures related to maintenance strategies.
- Have a good understanding of international standards for Maintenance and Asset Management, including the following, but not limited to:
- SAE JA1011 & JA1012
- ISO 13379-1 & 13379-2
- ISO 55000, 55001 &55002
- Industry experience (Mining, Oil and Gas, Infrastructure).
- 1SAP Maintenance Master Data experience is desirable.
- Experience with GE’s APM software tool or any other strategy management tool is desirable.
Location and Roster
We have flexibility for this role to be base at our corporate offices in Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide.
