Asset Performance Specialist

Work Location: Chichester Hub - 

  • Fortescue’s Chichester hub is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

Roster: 4D/3R – FIFO ex Perth

Reporting to Engineering Lead – Compliance and Integration; you will play a crucial role in developing and continuously improving the reporting framework. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Material Risk Management – Bowtie Creation, Control Effectiveness Tests, Control Management, BCP Plans      
  • Business Improvements i.e. Criticality Assessments, Critical Spares, Asset Management Documentation, SWIs, Maintenance Plans
  • KPI & Business Reporting i.e. KPI Dashboard Development, Reporting of OPF Reliability Performance, Monthly Reports
  • Business Improvement Initiatives
  • Management of Business Improvement Tools i.e. Eureka, Custodian, DCRM etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Significant experience in heavy industry preferably in fixed plant ore processing.
  • University Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Structural) – Optional
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating reports, presentation skills
  • Proficient user of Power BI, Microsoft Office and SAP
  • Experience developing business performance and reporting solutions
  • Desirable understanding of maintenance processes and equipment performance
  • Team player and able to work collaboratively with team members and clients
  • Detail-oriented and able to ensure the accuracy and quality of deliverables
