We’re on the hunt for an experienced Auto Electrician with a solid background in open-cut mining and hands-on work with heavy mobile plant equipment. If you’ve got the skills and love the mine site banter, this is your chance to join a crew that works hard, has a laugh, and keeps the wheels turning.

Location: Griffin Coal, just 10km east of Collie
DIDO from: Perth to Collie - Accommodation and meals provided
Roster: 7:7 DAYSHIFT ONLY

• Up to $75 per hour + 11.5% Super on all hours worked

  FLEET OVERVIEW:

• CAT 793 Dump Trucks

• CAT D10 Dozers

• CAT 16M Graders

• CAT 785 Water Carts
  
  

• Perform 12/24V electrical repairs and routine preventative maintenance

• Carry out diagnostics and fault-finding on electrical systems

• Implement electrical upgrades in line with Emeco’s standards

• Work closely with your teammates and assist other trades when needed

• Liaise with site customers to ensure smooth operations and compliance

• Full working rights in Australia

• Valid Australian driver’s licence

• Relevant Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate

• Air Conditioning Licence & High-Risk Licence (both mandatory)

• Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience in heavy mobile plant (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi preferred)

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills in heavy earthmoving electrical system

Successful candidates will undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing, and must provide a current National Police Check.
