Force is currently recruiting for Auto Electricians to join our amazing Port Hedland team. You will be responsible for repairing all electrical faults and maintaining Force and customer equipment, ensuring availability and integrity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Focus on safe working environment and quality of workmanship.
  • Ongoing repairs and maintenance Force Equipment and customer equipment
  • Troubleshoot faults including experience with OEM diagnostic systems.
  • Maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment, within budgets and time frames
  • Working with Force Equipment customer to meet company objectives; and
  • Quality control on all work performed.

Required skills/experience & attributes:

  • Nationally recognised Auto Electrician trade qualification
  • Nationally accredited Automotive Air-conditioning licence
  • National Australian Police Clearance
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised.
  • A dedicated attitude to following OHS policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment medical along with police and regular drug and alcohol tests.
  • Good communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of Caterpillar / Komatsu equipment and systems would be an advantage; and
  • High Risk licence would be desirable but not essential.
