Force by Emeco Group, is a leader in mining & heavy earth moving equipment maintenance services for the mining industries. We are currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians to carry out all aspects of electrical maintenance on the Emeco fleet based at our Mackay maintenance rebuild facility.

Key responsibilities include:
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on heavy earth moving equipment and perform the following duties:
- Machine midlife’s and cab refurbishments on rental fleet- namely; Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Trucks & more.
- Focus on safe working environment and quality of workmanship;
- Carrying out all 12/24 volt electrical repairs and undertaking routine PM and upgrade improvements to Emeco's Rental Equipment Fleet and other external customers' equipment as required;
- Troubleshoot faults including experience with OEM diagnostic systems;
- Maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar, Liebherr, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment, within budgets and time frames;
- Quality control on all work performed
Required skills / experience & attributes:
- Nationally recognised Auto Electrician Trade Qualification;
- Nationally accredited Automotive Air-Conditioning License;
- 2+ years post trade experience;
- Confined Spaces, Working at Heights and Gantry Crane classifications will be highly regarded;
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised;
- A dedicated attitude to following OHS policies and procedures;
- Good communication skills;
- Sound knowledge of Caterpillar/Komatsu equipment and systems
