Aeris Resources Limited are now seeking an experienced Auto Electrician at our Jaguar Mine operation, based in Jaguar (north of Leonora, WA) on an 8:6 day shift only FIFO roster.
This role is to provide day to day maintenance, auto electrical maintenance repairs & fault finding of all mobile equipment .
Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform any planned maintenance including breakdown repairs as directed
- Maintain parts storage and re-order any necessary parts
- Complete paperwork – PM sheets, timesheets, work orders etc.
- Test equipment, ensure safety compliance and undertake appropriate risk management (Completion of Take 5’s, JSEAs and Hazards ID’s)
- Actively work to minimize equipment downtime by ensuring high quality work standards and practices are adhered to
- Be able to diagnose faults on all mobile equipment to a high standard
- Work in with HD fitters as needed and perform some mechanical assistance when required
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Have outstanding diagnostic & fault-finding skills
- 2-4 years experience working on mining equipment
- Have RCT guidance remote training Level 1, 2 & 3 (Desirable)
- Have experience with CAT underground trucks & loaders, Epiroc MT65 trucks, Sandvik drills & Volvo IT’s
- Relevant High-Risk tickets (EWP, LF, WAH etc.) (Desirable)
- Current, unrestricted C Class Manual Driver’s License (or equivalent)
- Possess a National Police Clearance (6 months validity)

The Jaguar Operation Located 60km north of Leonora and 250km north of Kalgoorlie, comprises the Jaguar and Bentley copper-zinc-silver underground mines, a processing plant and an exploration team.
