About the Role

We are seeking Trade Qualified Auto Electricians to join our Maintenance East teams across the Bowen Basin, including Saraji, Goonyella, Peak Downs, and Caval Ridge. These roles operate on a 7/7 day-night rotating roster. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in the breakdown and maintenance of heavy surface mining equipment, working on a 7/7 rotating roster. We offer FIFO options from Brisbane, Cairns, or Townsville, as well as BIBO/DIDO to the Bowen Basin.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to: 

• Performing scheduled and breakdown maintenance on heavy mobile equipment such as trucks, dozers, drills, and excavators.

• Conducting preventative maintenance inspections, identifying faults, and carrying out necessary repairs.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of work procedures to ensure accuracy and relevance to current equipment.

About You

• Trade qualified Auto Electrician (Cert III in Automotive Electrotechnology).
• Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu or Liebherr equipment is desirable.
• Prior exposure to mining or similar heavy industries is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Willing to work a 7/7 rotating day-night roster.
