Auto Electrician (Underground)

The Macmahon Boston Shaker Underground team are seeking Underground Auto Electricians to work a 2 weeks on 2 weeks off Dayshift and Night Shift roster out of Perth 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Breakdown repairs and servicing of heavy mining equipment
• Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
• Contribute to a safe workplace through daily inspections for hazards
• Perform maintenance according company standards and work instructions
• Maintain maintenance data on a daily basis

Minimum Requirements:

• Trade qualifications as an Auto Electrician;
• Ability to read schematics;
• Experience in Vehicle Air Conditioning systems;
• Previous experience with mining equipment
• Extensive experience working on underground earthmoving machinery including makes such as CAT, SANDVIK & ATLAS

• Jumbos - Sandvik DD421
• Production Drill – Sandvik DL421
• Jumbo - Atlas M2D
• Bogger - Sandvik 621i
• Dump Trucks – Sandvik TH663i
• Dump Truck  - Atlas 5020
• Normet – Charmec 1614B
• IT Loader – Volvo 120 
• Toyota Land Cruiser LV’s
