About the role

We are looking for an Automation Advisor to provide technical expertise, system governance and support to operational teams in the use of Mine Star.

You will positively influence productivity coaching and the upskilling of mining teams with an aim to build operating equipment to an exceptional standard.

This is a great opportunity for a high performing person who is has a drive for excellence and the passion to provide mentoring to others.

Reporting to the in the Superintendent Production, and working in a collaborative and supportive environment, you will be:

• Provide system governance and undertake system administration tasks which support system set up and configurations.
• Plan and support the execution of testing and system upgrades.
• Provide coaching to operational teams to minimize downtime and impact.
• Perform regular site audits and benchmarking against metrics and report on system performance

What you’ll bring

• In-depth understanding of Mine Star
• 5 years+ mining operational experience
• Solid understanding of analysing data
• Key driver of decision making
• Capability of recognising improvement opportunities and implementing change
• Previous leadership experience
• Strong communication skills
