Autonomous Project Lead

Work Location: Fortescue Centre & Bennett St

Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: 4D/3R - 5D/2R

Key accountabilities will include:

• Reporting to the Implementation Superintendent the Project Lead will be directly responsible for the project management of new Automation projects within the business
• Ensuring essential business technology is implemented in a timely and frugal manner
• Working with OEM partners to ensure upcoming technologies align with the business Automation roadmap

• Liase with internal parties on Technology implementation including Install, Network and Production teams

 Qualifications and skills required:

• Exemplary communication skills and the ability to thrive in an agile environment
• Project management experience with a proven track record on project delivery
• Comprehensive mining knowledge with a minimum 5 years’ experience in surface mining
• Mining Automation experience and a passion for Technology
